I'm hoping to buy red Honda which is quite faded. I hope this video will help me restore the paintwork.

Question my father has a 2005 Dodge Magnum, Havent driven it in 2 years (Almost done restoring it). He has faded paint all around as well but also has some scratches completely through the paint. Will this be the same process or do I have to apply extra stuff to the deep scratches? I normally fix cars but this is rather a new experience to me and I don't want my dad spending thousands for it. Thanks in advance!

I'm looking at using this ultimate compound to restore my sun damaged red paint job. will this damaged the paint job and make it thinner or should it just leave a shine?

Great video! Thanks, can't wait to try this on my old car. Cheers

Restoring Car Paint Using Cutting Compound and Buffer. I have used Meguiars ULTIMATE COMPOUND and orbital buffer in this video. It recommend to use orbital buffer for new users you will have less chance to burn a particular area. Once you actually get a hang of these then you can do it quicker by using a normal buffer.
