So there are no more boat rentals at all that you can do in that area? It's just water now (except for the transportation ones)?

Be warned - one of the guys that works at the boat rental, Disney's Port Orleans is very rude & definitely hasn't had his 'Disney magic' customer service training!

I believe Disney will start renting again but more from the new Docks at Disney Springs when finished in a couple of years.

is this permanent or until all the construction at DTD/ Springs is finished?

The boat rentals at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside, Old Key West and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort ended today. We took a Pontoon Boat out for a grand circle tour from Disney's Port Orleans Riverside, passing Port Orleans French Quarter, Saratoga Springs Resort, Old Key West and to Downtown Disney (soon to be Disney Springs). We loved the experience and will miss the chance to do it again.
