I would recommend an john Allmand I have a 1964 john and is still running good beside repowering to outboard it had nothing to fix

This is a Defiance video trying to promote themselves. I personally have fished and been on both Defiance and Parker boats. I'll just say Defiance feels and rides like a cheap boat. Good luck with what you choose.

Fuck dude need to bash on parkers to sell your defiance boats huh? Nice try bud im sticking with my parker. They have such a big name for a reason.
-
Such a shame you can't get an HONEST REVIEW ANYWHERE ANYMORE...jeezzz

I think both are well built and seaworthy vessels. It's unfortunate when one company tries to make themselves look good by trying to make another look bad.
Many things considered, I vote for Parker. -
This video is untrue and all the fisherman these days have Parker's so go suck it team defiance boats
-
your wrong parker has 10 year warenty back in 2007 my botheer had parker 1701 cente console high quilty hes looking parker 2320 and rebalo r265 but hes going have maguc genie lamp prtect cabels and batrery wpthrough a maguc wich inexoensive watpy too do that

IF any one is looking to buy a pilot house 24_32foot Radon boats are far better then Parker boats if you have never fished on a radon or been on one at sea your missing out .. Once you have you will prob think twice about Parkers or any other pilot house trailer size boat excellent in rough seas especially in following seas the track great never broach or lean while surfing down swells I never had to slow down or back off throttle going down hill like with some boats

silly comments: the guy mentions that the batteries on the Defiance are kept neat and clean and orderly and opens up deck space. ALL TRUE. But far more important is SAFETY. Batteries on any design that are exposed (under a light cover) can be shorted out--loss of engine in a critical moment--and DEATH.

I vote for Steiger Craft

Parker has lifetime warranty on the stringers and deck. So that 5 year thing is false. Wood shouldnt bother people. Its still the strongest way to not only build a boat but getting the pieces of a boat to stick. Gradys, Boston Whalers, and many well known boats all have wood. Notice how a 24 year old Parker most likey will have no stress cracks because the pieces of the boat arent seperating. Above deck fish boxes equal no compromising of the decking, preventing water intrusion etc. Notice older boats usually get soft right around the deck hatches. The problem is everyone is trying to find cheaper ways to build a boat thats why they use fiberglass and two piece molds which are basically just glued together. It actually costs more to build a Boat out of marine ply.

I vote Parker

You are leaving out how ugly the Defiance is.

The other obvious comment that no one seems to be making is that this is the Parker 2120 which is a smaller boat. I could make the same video comparing the Defiance 22 to a Parker 23, and it'd be an entirely different video. Anyway, I'm looking to upgrade. I have had my Parker since 1990, that's right 24 years, and honestly, it still is as solid as a rock, not as pretty as it used to be, but an awesome center console. No one can believe it's a 1990, especially the amount I use it. Now I'm looking to get a pilot house, need a place to sleep... All that said, I will take a look at these Defiance boats.

one thing i DONT like about defiance is the gunnels are to low. Knee high for a taller fisher man as I
-
Thanks for posting this comparison as I was looking at a Parker for my next boat and now I will research the Defiance.
-
very nice ! very good to know, thanks, since i'm on the market for one of this pilothouses, now i know witch one to choose..have a nice day!!
-
How about putting them in the water side by side and let them run. And do it after 2:00 PM.

I've had experience with both boats. This is a great side by side comparison. The Defiance construction materials are superior. This Defiance planes level. No tail down attitude. Because of this it is faster and more fuel efficient than the Parker.
