Wanted to show everyone, who might be watching, the inside of the crew quarters of the boat. I had just woke up from a mid afternoon nap on Monday Day 14 of our voyage, when I shot this video. It gives you and idea of what it is like to be down below on a moving boat in the Gulf of Mexico. I give a tour of my 1/3 of the boat. The boat is basically broken down into three areas below deck. The Captain's Quarters on the starboard side. The main Salon in the center, where we eat, cook & lounge, as if we have time to do that, the galley (kitchen), and Navigation Station. Then finally the port side or Crew Quarters. This video really details just my port 1/3 of the boat, the Crew Quarters. Shown first is my sleeping quarters (berth) & changing area with built in dressers and storage. Then the hallway leading to my head (toilet), and shower, or up two steps to the main Salon. Behind my shower is the port diesal motor. This boat has two identical diesel motors. We have been doing part of our sailing under one or both motors to make better time. The Captain's Quarters are basically identical to my port side of the boat, except that everything is reverse. There is also an added door to close it off from the main Salon. All in all this boat is very comfortable for two people or three people. We had no trouble with just the two of us the entire length of 15 days out. I apologize, for my bed wasn't made, I had literally just woke up when I took this video.
