Hey man, Thank you for the video. The Way you showing it on your channel was so so easy to do. Thank you once again

This the same procedure as 09 dodge journey? I have not seen anything on a axle replacement for my vehicle.
-
Did you pry it out using anything else to whack it? I can't get any good leverage just using the pry bar and my hands. It keeps slipping off....Pissing me off. Passenger side was a peice of cake tho

I have a 01 dodge grand caravan and am dreading having to perform this reapair. Should I take her in for am alignment after doing this? Also, should I replace the transmission seals while I'm there?

Been doing these for awhile myself too. There's an easier way that doesn't require a front end alignment or the removal of the Strut Bolts, because even with marks on the strut you'll need a front end alignment now.
Here's some tips. Following was EDITED Monday 03 Aug. 2015 (ADDED).
If you don't have a impact gun you can leave the car/tire on the ground and break the (AXLE) nut free (32mm) and take it off, then the break the lug nuts free (19mm) NOT OFF, then raise the car. Then you can remove the tire and lower ball joint nut (18mm) and Tie Rod end nut (18mm). This way you won't need a front end alignment. You will have to use a large prybar to push the lower control arm out of the ball joint hole once you have it free from the steering nuckle assembly, you'll need a Pickle Fork and a small sledge hammer to break it free. The ball joint nut will not come off all the way until you break it free. Push the assembly down then pull off the nut. Then the whole assembly just swings out and you can pull the CV axle out of the Wheel Hub assymbly.(ADDED) You MAY have to Pull the Brake Caliper (12mm), and Caliper Guide Plate (21mm), and Brake Rotor. REMOVE the ABS Sensor (10mm) bolt so when you reinstall the CV Axle it won't damage it. I decided to remove the Brake Caliper/Guide Plate and Rotor to make it easier. When reinstalling the lower ball joint or tie rod end sometimes it spins. The ball joint is easy to stop, just put a jack under it. The tie rod you can tap it down and put a box end wrench on it and pull down while turning it. If not you'll need to use an (8mm) wrench to hold the nipple still.I've done this on my 99 Breeze and 2002 Grand Caravan with good results. But whatever gets the job done as there's more than one way to skin a cat, just some ways are easier than others. Hope this helps for next time.Don't forget to look on line for the axle before you head for the store to make sure i'ts in stock. I purchased my Cardone Remanufactured yesterday from PepBoys and Orielley. They were about $55.00 each pluse a core of $10.00 each. So take them out before you go to the store. Also when you pull the axles they will drop a ton of tranny fluid, about 6 quarts so don't forget to put a large oil pan under the axle and get some TF at the store. Your van should take the ATF Plus4 Type 9602 Per Haynes manual 30011 Capter 1 page 1-2, PepBoys carrys it.
Best wishes/blessings Keith -
So this got it out, is there anything to the replacement???? Other than the reverse??
-
any idea what's the torque spec on the axle nut?

а почему масло не потекло из коробки? И с каким усилием правильно закручивать гайку ступицы, чтобы не перетянуть подшипник?
