I love the cutterpillar Pro. Hate the colour :) But I got mine today and it cuts perfectly. Straight lines at last. And so easy to use.

Really wanted this cutter...until I found numerous crafters who are complaining about the gridlines wearing out. Also heard about your very bad customer service.....permanent marker? i will be spending my money on a quality cutter with better customer service.

i have a rotary cutter, old old old one, and 140lbs paper is tricky for it and i get "ruffled"edges, what's the thickest the cutterpillar can cut? watercolor paper is another thick hard card i cut a lot

After reading all the comments I'm even more dissapointed. What am I doing wrong? I've tried pushing the blade hard against the edge, soft against the edge and everywhere in between. I still get crooked cuts. I would also like one of the stickers to show imperial measurements. Anyone know how I can get one? Not that it would help with crooked cuts.

Is there going to be a paper guard to hold it in place while cutting? Large paper tends to curl while cutting if you do not secure paper all the way down the cut with your hand for a clean cut. Lots of cutting hurts my hand due to arthritis.

Can you please tell me what the changes are in the ABS version?

I just received my cutterpiller pro. I bought it on amazon. I was so excited for it to get here. I'm a serious crafter and was in search for the best cutter out there for a reasonable price and was hoping I found it. I unboxed it and got a piece of cardstock hoping to see that straight cut that you don't always get using a fiskars. I couldn't believe not to mention how incredibly disappointed I am. It has a horrible cut line. Not at all straight and very noticeable. I'm also not crazy about the ruler either. I did research before I bought it and read mixed reviews. I was hoping the good reviews would be my experience and it wasn't. I am now boxing it back up and sending it back. Cost way to much to keep and eat the cost. I hope this helps anyone thinking about ordering one. This is only my personnel opinion.

Love this paper cutter, I just wish it had a paper guard. Other rgan this this thing is perfect. I hope you will consider adding one, or making one we can attach.

The demo shows clean top-to-bottom slices, but it doesn't address how you would make partial cuts--simplest concept would be how do you cut a square or oblong out of the center of your paper?
-
Do you make it in a larger size?
-
Yes. The brackets which hold up the rod should not be loose, but the rod itself should be loose, otherwise the gears will get stuck.
-
Thx Arianne. I will email you tomorrow when I have a minute. I am loving this cutter even more every time is use it. One question, is the rail suppose to be loose?
-
The ruler is very easily visible. It is right up against where the paper rests at the top so you can match it to your paper. :)

Beary, we will gladly send you a stick on ruler strip so you can customize where you see ruler markings on your CutterPillar. (The will be included in the cutters that go out from now on) Just email me at cutterpillar@gmail.com with your mailing address. Thanks for the great review! -Arianne @ cutterpillar customer service

After a 7 month wait, I finally received the Cutterpillar Pro v3, purchased at OMC ship to Canada. All said and done, a hefty $180! It cuts like a dream. Would have preferred a ruler at the bottom too. Would like to see improvements to the ruler in general. Doesn't feel as large as the Fiskars Procision, no paper guard protruding. I like the Fiskars Pro but I LOVE the CP v3. When I show others how it cuts, their eyes would bug out in disbelief! Very impressed!

is the ruler easily visible? is it close to the paper or is it far away??
