Combat at Sea This German newsreel opens with BISMARCK departing harbor assisted by tugs, through the Kiel Kanal & out into the open sea. We look around the bridge and into the engineering spaces. The clips of BISMARCK going through heavy seas are impressive! Then we ship aboard U-46 with Engelbert Endraß as he meets another U-Boat on the seas and they attack a freighter with gun action, surface. We tour inside the boat; Endraß is at the 'scope. LOS! This is all great combat footage. We see U-Boats back to their port with victory pennants fluttering in the breeze, the bands and pretty girls waiting for them dockside. U-81 is one of the boats coming in, and Fritz Guggenberger stepping onto the dock. The tape ends with a propaganda film of the nice life aboard the boats -- clean clothing, sumptuous meals as destroyers drop depth charges miles away. German folk music is played throughout this tape. You'll run right out to your nearest Kriegsmarine recruiting office by the time this tape ends. 40 minutes Order DVD-16 from SHARKHUNTERS INTERNATIONAL - www.sharkhunters.com
