That's really gonna ring your bell.

Now...that's a "real" boat...on that will correct the operator's "fuck-up."

I'd love to take this out into open water during a hurricane!

What about if the cabin door is left open?

The phrase "What a bunch of self-righteous coasties" is no longer pejorative.

Garsh!

Hope there was no electronics onboard yet lol

People are commenting saying wouldn't people in side get hurt if something like this happen. Well for how hard it is to flip this boat and the waters it would take to flip this boat would have to be pretty furious. And I say injury is better than drowning.

Is it water tight ???

What the...

Well, that is good, sucks for the crew, but at least the boat will be ok.

Do a barrel roll.

I've heard of self righting boats and went searching on You Tube. Have to say that this is very impressive.

What's with the cheesy 70's music? Why have music at all? Distracting to a good test.

this is the reason my dad is a disabled veteran. They were doing drills like this in the bar durring high surf conditions and his harness to keep him secure was faulty and he got thrown around injuring his back. I didn't believe the story but now i do thanks to this vid

That's secured to land. Is there a video of what happens after a 100 round burst of 20-23mm HE? Makes a difference. Not an E ride.

http://CoastGuardNews.com Seattle - The Response Boat Medium successfully completes a self-righting test. This new boat, which was delivered to the Coast Guard March 31, is a multi-mission capable boat expected to operate in coastal zones which include inshore and inland waterways and open ocean out to 50 nautical miles, but will routinely operate in shallow water. As an operational Coast Guard asset, it will rapidly respond to any Coast Guard mission on very short notice and will conduct planned patrols and training. It will replace the 41-foot utility boat which has been the workhorse of Coast Guard coastal stations for more than 25 years.
