Some of this success was down to the songs Cilla recorded by the divine Burt Bacharach and Hal David (e.g. hits such as "Anyone Who Had A Heart" and "Alfie"). Although Cilla recorded many of the songwriting duos biggest and best loved songs she has so far overlooked "Trains and Boats and Planes" even though she proved the song was suited to her vocal range and style when she performed this knockout live performance of it in the 1970s.
