I've got a Newport inflatable boat that im researching how to repair and found your video. In extreme Australian heat the glue used by them just melted. I believe epi glue is good stuff for repairs. I'm searching for it or any other hypalon pvc glues. Good luck

when you are accusing Chinese factory of making the substandard products, just think about how much you have paid for.that's the principle applicable in the whole world.OK, time to advertise,WEIHAI JS-YACHT,customize all kinds of inflatable boat,ISUP,kayak, again, you will get what you pay for.but making life-related stuff,we never kid.

What do you think about the Cando Boats? they are made for Qingdao Shinkwang and the say: " becoming the sole supplier in China for ZODIAC boats in 2008".
-
what did you expect? No doubt you "out smarted" a local dealer of good quality boats to import something yourself and save money. Well done. Caveat Emptor

most Zodiac and Bombard Inflatable Boats are still being made in France and other countries like the USA, with only the amateur or beginner cheap boats being made in china. Zodiac does take care of their warranties if you are unfortunate enough to have a problem. Zodiac has over 100 years as the #1 inflatable boat company and uses their own materials and adhesives they developed in house.it's like comparing a yugo to a mustang 7 liter, buying a knock off no name boat and comparing to a Zodiac or Bombard brand inflatable boat. it's as simple as www.inflatableboats.com to get a real inflatble boat.

The glueing projects was not successful and now I am going to fill the whole boat with pur foam, I will bring this from Holland to the Philippines. The only available foam in a hardware shop was not working at all.
-
the boat was around 800 U$ and than we were cut and shaved a second time by the corrupt Philippine customs. It was just a waste of money, the inflatable company keeps on sending me emails or I want to buy more of their products.

Many Chinese products are a waste of raw materials as they end up very quick on the garbage belt. I have learned from it and buy my products now outside China.
-
i know that many items like Zodiac are also made now in China but they have a quality check on their products, in my case the boat constructor used cheap glue. I am very busy now to repair the boat with 2 component glue which i ordered in Holland. I will make a youtube movie about the whole repair.

Indeed, I bought many items in China and the only items that are still in business are my solar panels, specially the electronic tems made in China are really bad engineered, so bad that they can put your house on fire, i had a few accidents already. The after sales service is an unknown phenomenon in China, warranty is zero.

Whoa thats bad as and typical. We are expect to compete wiyth these thieves FYI Zodiacs are also made in China !
A boat bought in China is falling completely apart after only 3 years and used only ten times for a couple of hours.Chinese suppliers give all the response needed to sell you a product but never count on any after sales service. I bought a few products through Alibaba and MadeinChina.com but non of them helped me out when there were problems with their products, they just ignore your mails with questions. Problems I encountered were manuals in English who nobody understands, products which have completely other specifications as in the manual and as agreed on forehand. Once you pay they want a second payment as costs were higher as estimated in their first invoice.Product not complete, items are missing. The Chinese English speaking contact person does not understand your problem and has to translate this to a technician, mission impossible at the end I am the one who misused their product and they never received a complaint about one of their products/
