wet patch, creeking noise.OMG! the boats sinking. that would be a scary thought
-
I mean, if I'm unlucky or dumb enough to fall off, then so be it.
-
I'm so thankful that you have decided to were a harness. ❤
-
i´m not a sailor , but my hands got sweaty watching the inclination of the boat ... i´d constantly fear that it´d tip over
-
Pure gold.

Although I typically had my wife/crew onboard for most passages, it would sometimes be necessary to single-hand our 42' ketch. There is something quite satisfying about single-handing a big boat to a distant port.

Honestly, every time i watch this show; i say to myself... "a pro would wear a life jacket".
-
Hahahaha the oven tells all
-
Please talk to the benevolent oven more often in videos and do not neglect the other inanimate objects aboard the ship 👏🏼 many thanks xo
-
Cant you run 2 life lines from bow to stern to be harnessed in ?
-
How old are you? :-)
-
We left Europe with twin boys age 1. They were not allowed in the cockpit without life jacket and tethered to main mast. Absolute rule. Never violated. No close calls. They were such a wonderful addition!

I do like the windspeed is measured in meter per secund (sekundmeter in Danish term)
-
just wish I could understand a word he says

Digging this series of your solo sails. Be careful dude! Have fun!

After sailing up and down the California coast for 20 years, safety is a mater of practice by every crew member on before it is an emergency. Mother-nature loves to surprise us and Murphy is always lurking. Have fun!

There are so many cranky little snowflakes in the comments.
Methinks they ought to go boating without harnesses, but with a boat full of coconuts just in case.
R5 (Daily Vlog 8 of 21) So obviously a bit of safety information in here for the kids. To be extra cautious I decide not to sleep as I get closer to the only island I would encounter on this trip. This causes a few problems and perhaps a bit of delirium. We have the “Annoying thing of the day” segment and some nicer wind.
