Cessna 162 Skycatcher leads LSA market in aircraft registrations for 2011.

I didn't know until now that the 162 was built in China. They lost me as a customer.

From a great topic about LSA to, When will they ever learn? Not everything is about Profit Now she's gone. Was it about the plane? Or was it about national pride and freedom which is why we love LSA.

Because of Americans don't care about where their cars are made, I don't see how Cessnas being made by foreign labor is an issue. The American people have eliminated over 1/2 a million auto workers jobs. If Cessna never makes an affordable plane, they will never have me for a customer.

This plane never had a chance to sucess. Way to expensive to competetive LSA Planes, quality was not that good, the yoke is stupid, nobody wants it like that, so as we expectetd, now the plane is of the market. And we felt fooled with production in china(which is not negative), but then the pricing of Cessna compared to the lower production costs. The market did not accept this way of marketing.

People will probably say I'm saying this because I'm Asian, but being born and raised here in the U.S., I'm not sure why there's all this hate about Chinese products nowadays in 2016. American made products break just as much as Chinese ones and cost 3x more.

just picked up a zodiac 601 xlb with a 140 hp tri blade graphite prop. Realistically a good solo with overnight bag airplane.

way too expensive, after all, it is still only an lsa. Also they should have used the normal yoke, they had enough room

ridiculous there are a hundred other like sports made in this country that I would consider before spending a dime with anyone dragging more of our manufacturing capacity to China Cessna should be ashamed of themselves

5:20 ,, Cessna will eventually learn ,,, In China Honda makes scooters and motorcycles by day and the Chinese plant owner re-opens at night and builds the same exact bikes with the same parts ordered from the same suppliers and slaps their own name on the side .. sells it for half or less.... AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT WITHIN CHINESE LAW...

Cessna has a great aircraft building history here in the United States.. It's really too bad they've decided to build this plane in China.. I wouldn't even consider giving the 162 a second thought after having purchased so many crappy Chinese made products.. Every time an American company allows some Chinese outfit to produce their products the quality suffers greatly.. These two could talk until they were blue in the face but would never be able to convince me that a Chinese made 162 would ever compare to one made here in the United States by American laborers.. I've always trusted the name Cessna but no longer.. Very sad times we're living in today..

never  ever catch me in one of these they took american jobs cant you put them together here you sold out to i love cessna i have alot of hours in a 172 but this did it for me
