Stock prop in that video, now I run the 3 blade off the warrior from HK and also their cnc 32mm 1.4pitch 2 blade. Will be hitting the water again with the 4200kw donkey motor on 3s. Should be pretty fast now, will post vids.

hey mate, I run the strut as high as it goes with the aftermarket prop and the turn fins I set so they are inline with the middle of the lowest blade on the prop when the blades are at 6 and 12 o'clock. I run 3s with the battery as far forward as I can fit it. The octura x442 will need sharpening, polishing and balancing when you get it. Im 99% sure the one in the link is a HK copy of the octura so I would just run with that. I put lead in the center on blue-tac for easy to move ballast

gotcha..i mite have to order that prop!!.i ordered a propeller from octura(x432). i havent installed it yet. is it necessary to balance and sharper the propeller? the boat is pretty small. i also trying to add some stick on weights to the front of the boat, hopefully it will help the bouncing. how high is your "propeller strut" set at?the part where you bolt the propeller shaft holder? thanks much! ps-i think i was asking you some questions on hobbyking, lol

See description for link to upgrade prop. highly recommended!

I have the battery as far forward as I can get it in this vid with the stock prop. I have since fitted this:- SEE LINK BELOW. It runs a little warm, waiting on temp sensor and new flex drive to see just how hot. I polished the prop also which should help. Also I will be running 2 water circuits in the boat now. It's much more stable with that prop too, handles way better overall, highly recommended USE LOCTITE ON BOTH END OF FLEX SHAFT!!

Sweet. Yea I agree it's fun to run. Bounces around a lot though. I have my cg up forwArd and it still a little choppy. What prop are you running?

see above.

yeah, it appears to have nosedived when I turned to sharply and the prop got a bite of the water and drove it to the bottom, was under water for about 60sec before it floated back up. make sure you set up the loss of signal fail safe in your radio gear so this cant happen to you. Overall the boat is great fun and worth the money, also its fiberglass to if you crash it a repair kit is cheap and repairs are easy to make. Definitely use it on 3s. overall great buy, keeps me out of the pub....

looks like it flipped where the ripples were from your last pass. how do you like the boat? mines in the mail!
Please excuse the poor filming...(Im driving the boat) Unmodified centurion catamaran from hobbyking.com running 2650mAh 3s 40c lipo. Boat flips at speed and nose dives, when the boat looses signal from the transmitter and lands upside down it stays at full power turning the boat into a submarine!! The ESC eventually burnt out and the boat floated back to the top otherwise unharmed accept perhaps the motor, it was very hot! There was very little water in the hull that was mostly absorbed by the sponges I put in the bilges. Hobbyking were very good with the warranty and have credited me the cost of another ESC minus freight which is ($3) and not worth thinking about. I have since fitted this prop, highly recommended you get one, just be sure to use loctite on both ends of flex shaft. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=18244
