You folks sound like a bunch of cat enthusiast. BIAS And no, I don't want to get in any lengthy discussions.

There is something about those who go to the sea...for a living...or for pleasure....and there is a connection among all of you.....you may be of different cultures, nationalities, religions, nations, but at sea.....if your brothers are in trouble.......even in times of war.....we seem to overcome our differences and help one another. I admire this most about those who go to sea....and embrace her ........she is beautiful and sometimes cruel........but she gives us life and is so beautiful.....when all is calm and the stars cover us like a blanket. all of you.......I have so much respect for you...........you are all a different breed....I have almost drowned twice when I was a child.....so I am mesmerized by what all of you do....but I am terrified of drowning....I wish I could not have this on me. all of you who do love the sea.........please do know how beautiful you are. You are creatures of that part of this planet that is most abundant........Our seas are most of this Earth. all of you are so strong in your love of adventure.
Never lose who you are. namaste -
I have to say....I love all the lore of the sea...when I lived in England I read all I could on sailing....then one winter...English friends took my wife and I down to Cornwall...a force nine gale was off in the channel....we were standing on a cliff side...two hundred feet high...yes..200 feet high...boulders the size of small houses were rumbling about below us...and in the snow and mist we approached the cliff face....when mist and waters from the breaking sea below us burst over the face of the cliff.....the ground was shaking from the waves....I turned and walked back to the car to change my shorts...and thought to me self....who the fk goes to sea in stih like this???? I pray no sane sailor....I admire the size of all of your balls...you are all made of stronger shit than me lads.......bless you all....may Neptune be kind to you. Namaste

Cat for sale one careless owner, just one slight problem. Glad they got to talk about it,sad to see them sailing away
-
This is typical for inexperienced boaters ;-) To capsize a cat of any size requires amateurs. Security first, not speed!
-
Hard lesson learned the wrong way! They were lucky they were picked up before sinking making them more difficult to see or find.
-
Not a great bottom color for being found is it.
-
How did it happen?
-
Money is on them pitchpoling while running off because they didn't realize how fast they were going, the apparent wind dropped, so they raised more sail, got hit by the squall while going down in a trough, buried one or both of their bows and flipped.
-
a cat that size should NEVER capsize, unbureavable,I dont suppose they thought about sinking one hull and trying to flip her with the rescue boat.
-
Those cats are more stable then any other sail boat now with the new designs. Those two sailors either were hit by a freak wave which is unlikely as it would say so on here or more likely they had far too much sail out .

US Navy Orion circling I think.
-
they had to be looking for ther miss hap!!!!
-
Nail biting stuff. So worried they would get crushed between the cat and the ship.
-
99.9 percent chance of being 100 percent the crews fault!
-
WHAT A SHAME! ANY UPDATE OR INFO ON THIS?
-
Likely the crew are to blame...
