You would still fall to your hip though.

Moe and I found today that you can keep the trail leg where it's at in #3, right against the hip in reverse knee in belly position. That allows you to keep them back away from you and pop up to a top position if necessary to abandon the move.

Three Calf Slicer variants I have been working on. The last two are variations that I've figured out recently. Knowing the first one helps to understand finishing the last two however. Credit for the idea that let to my second one goes to Sean Roberts who was crushing people with essentially the same setup at the BJJ Kumite. I just wanted to show a few moves I've been working on lately, see what everyone thinks. Feel free to make intelligent comments below.
