That little sponson running along the chine is interesting...

Excellent tutorial Matt. It's obvious that you are very experienced in many things to include boating. Your teaching style is perfect for beginners to advanced boaters. Just so happens I'm looking at C-Dory, Nordic tugs and Parkers. Tough search, but good problem to have.

Very informative. Thank you for sharing. In this world of flash & "go fast" boats, my dad taught me early on about buying quality & durability. He's old school Boston Whaler, Grady White & Grand Banks. So, I feel that C-Dory falls in that line of quality. Again, thank you for sharing in such detail.

This is a very helpful and informative video, thank you. The Wallas: I've had three boats with them, and they've ALL gave me problems. As someone correctly said on cbrats, "it's the least reliable item on the boats" I ended up pulling the one out of my hewescraft and replacing it with a simple two burner propane stove. I also installed a Dickinson heater that runs on propane. I would never rely on the Wallas at this point. CD22-cruisers are great boats and probably the best boat for the money out there.

cool video and setup. Learned some great things. Great adventure boat!

WOW.. nice job with your video and the upgrades you have done in the boat. I love it.. I wish I could buy it.

The high bow of the C-dory is one of my favorite looks. The northwestern from the deadliest catch also has a high bow.

I've enjoyed every adventure aboard C-Dawg-E

They are all over the map: go to C-Brats website and you'll quickly see that. Very best of luck with getting a boat, they are excellent.
-
what can i expect to pay for a c-dory like the one you sold?

All it takes is another garage . . . Hope you have safe travels!

Matt, I've been watching you for years now. I am also a pilot, diver, farmer, and gold prospector, now I've added gem cutter, and now this vessel; and all these sea going vids are makeing me want to go to sea. Stop it already! I'm 61 and I can't keep starting new stuff. Way too many irons in the fire! Love your videos, Thanks a million Paul Wilson Texas

Great video Matt, and a fine, comprehensive tutorial for potential C-Dory buyers. It's sad that you sold it, but I know you both have many warm memories of her. Thanks.
-
It went to the new owner, but I'll leave it up for anyone contemplating a C-Dory purchase as the things described helpful to all buyers (I hope). Good luck with your purchase!

Another outstanding video. On it's way to Iowa? Going on vacation or is it sold? I have been saving up to get a boat and wish I had another $20,000.00 in my pocket if it is still up for sale.

That is a difficult question, as it is on its way to Iowa in the morning. I wish everyone could have a C-Dory, definitely one of the most adventure finding boats ever made.
