Hey. How much did you pay for the catamaran after negotiations?

I know you've already named it but I think it should have been "Into the Wynnd"

Did the surveyor climb the mast?

They're so white.

Are the surveys this thorough in the UK? The ones I've seen filmed are mostly US based and seem pretty thorough.

You can tell that the boat surveyor likes his job.

dude, I know nothing about boats but that drive train is dodgy as, at least from a land engine perspective I'd call that vehicle a moving lemon. leaks everywhere, oil not being changed, coolant problems. if that is what the technition calls a good engine I couldn't believe what a bad engine would look like.

wow, so glad you were there for the survey. We only had a little narrowboat surveyed but it was such an educational moment.
Find more details and info in the article on our site here: http://www.gonewiththewynns.com/buying-a-sailboat-survey-sea-trial Our offer has been accepted on a Leopard 43 Catamaran and the next step in the process is a Survey, Haul-Out and Sea Trial. We've hired a guy named Brian Stetler out of Jupiter, Florida for the survey and it's his job to find the big stuff that might be wrong with this sailboat. Turns out Brian is extremely thorough and the day is action packed with issues, at sea repairs and plenty of learning opportunities along the way. *This video is not an endorsement for anyone or sponsored by any company.
