Nice videos, however a bit of what I have been noticing is you like to weld everything full length, depending on what wire your using ( I'm assuming 4043?) it is unnecessary as your filler metal has a higher shear strength then 5052,5086 or even 6061 in .250 also the amount of heat you subject the alum to changes its strength makes it much much softer. depending on the length of what your welding a 50/50 ratio of length to weld is actually stronger, also you will not have near the heat distortion you have been experiencing!
