I just finished watching all 3 of your boat videos and checked out your channel and want you to know I think your videos are great. I am very happy to subscribe. I also have a playlist of low cost DIY boats and added your video to it. Thanks for making and sharing.

Hats Off to you Bob...Awesome, and great to have such friends. It will sail, please make it sail, we are all cheering you.

Damn the torpedoes and full steam ahead lads! Only one question Captain... was the insulation closed cell or not? If yes, you have a boat if no, you might be getting your feet wet.
-
I have faith...It will float...How smoothly she sails is another question. We shall see :)
Great video Tim...And of course Sandra. -

haha man this is a fun bit of an experimental project.
I know nothing really about boats but I think it will float and sail with the board in the centre down.
Be looking forward to seeing the results in any case.
We (almost) built a catamaran in one day!! Out of pipes, plywood, planks and screws - but no glue. The bits that didn’t get done were quickly finished off the next morning and we could have done it in the day but we were tired and hungry by the end and there didn’t seem much point. Meitheal Group #1 has been getting together once a month for the past four years to help each other out. A workgroup. I used this anniversary event, which happened to be at our place, to help get this catamaran built. And it was a good thing too, because there was a lot to do. As you can see, the day was noisy and busy, but productive. We had planned to launch in the evening – but the weather really was awful all day and no one fancied it at all. Sandra had made a lovely dinner and we’d planned to cook it on the beach and toast a successful day. Ha! We ate it round the table in the kitchen instead and it was very good and we’ll have the bonfire another night. The launch has happened – video coming soon!! (It takes a long time to edit this type of video though. Nearly 3 hours of clips went into this one. It has taken nearly two days!) Huge thanks to Madeline, Mike, Seb, Linda, Lisa, and Martin. (Plus Morwena and Meven who didn’t even know us and worked so hard!) Brilliant people, as usual. This is the link to the video about the designing of this catamaran.. https://youtu.be/1Az5N9VcPZ0 And here's the launch.. https://youtu.be/jEvEeEReVSM And here's one for the panel saw video.. https://youtu.be/cu5UU10F7NQ Copyright WayOutWest. I just saw that You have been wearing hearing protection, while noone else have even thought about that.
Well, I dont like noisy sounds neitherI hat You might be a Highly Sesnsitive Person as well. Try to search something about HSP in Google. Quite interesting, because about 15 % of population is a HSP, but not mony are aware of it. :-)
