If you're going to bring al that crap with you, why not just a boat?
-
im get'n sea sick watching your vid.
-
How long does it take to assemble? Looks like it would take a while
-
Nice but those two pontoons look useless.
-
That thing is awesome!!! Way to go!
-
looks like you need a boat instead
-
Thanks for the comment Kurtis. This was a pretty fun project, I've now moved on to a small catamaran with a 30 HP motor. The Fish hook idea is a good one LOL. Thanks for watching 😀

Your boat looks like a big fishing lure. You should tie a big hook on the back, just in case you get a bite. Keep up the good work guys. Thanks for sharing.

You guys are going to really screw yourselfs one day when a pop up storm comes and your kayaks get detroyed lol stay in the bays....
-
Sounds like something demonic when you lift your camera out of water. It sounds like something out of this world or from hell;screaming for mercy. Have you ever wondered that?
-
Is that like 4 kayaks put together if so damn that's good thinking
-
All that money for a funky lil bobber. Better off getting a boat. You must be a tweaker?

I'm SO SORRY pygme...A title like "BTB Offshore Motor Kayak Catamaran Natural-Gas-Production-Rig Fishing Trip 9-2012" is a mouth full, but thanks for the comment & sorry for wasting your valuable time...
-
You couldn't have for one BIG reason I would think. THATS-NOT-AN-OIL-RIG!! @-@ It's a Natural-Gas-Production-Rig, HUGE-DIFFERENCE!! Ya should post what it is, I just wasted thst much time that can't be replaced thinking you were going out to the Rigs to Fish! You should title this 'Trial-Run-On-Fabricated-Catamaran', Cause thats all it was. Y'all didn't do any fishing I seen???? @-@

This design would go about 6.5 MPH with the 3.5 hp motor. I later put a 9.9 hp motor on it and can go 12 MPH. That version is now for sale if you are in the Texas area, as I have a new project. You can see that design on my video "Motor Kayak Catamaran-New Motor Mount Test". Thanks for watching:)
-
how fast can you go on that greg thinking about selling my kayak and making one like yours
-
Very true Spencey. I've been on the water in Texas since I was "knee high" even though I live in the San Antonio area. I've been in the water with sharks, sank a kayak off shore, and been caught in really bad seas a couple of times. You have to respect the ocean & Mother Nature, but it'd not crazy to do the things we love. Thanks for the intelligent comment :)

Thanks for watching Nick. It was an experiment. I appreciate the comment...
-
You should get something a little more suitable for that like a small boston whaler or something. Dave that thing for the lake.

This was a trial run. We fished, but nothing worth showing. Check my other videos for sharks & cobia...Thanks for the comment & for watching.

New vid of my buddy & me taking my motor kayak to the 1st oil rig a mile off shore from Bob Hall Pier in Port Aransas Texas. Some cool underwater video of fish, and also I had to jump off the boat (pretty funny)... More to come...
