Make sure to apply topcoat to the correct film thickness or it will fall off due to the U.V.'s ruining the epoxy primer /undercoat

myThanks for taking the time "to take & post" this video! I have a 1970 Kingscraft aluminum houseboat on the Mississippi River, Alton, Illinois, USA, which has needed painting since I bought it 19 years ago..I call it my poor/lazy mans boat, cause I don't have to worry about rust, de-lamination, or wood rot, just keep an eye on my sacrificial zinc lamb. Watching your video has given me the confidence to "Get R Done"! Nice paint jobs in the harbor have had the Imron $prayed on, or epoxy, & were all painted in a controlled environment by professionals. Your video shows how a regular guy can do it himself without having to get additionally educated on proper spray application techniques & equipment. If I had the $, I may pay to have it painted, though, I'd probably just buy a Bluewater if that was case. Happy Boating! and Thank You Again!

The types of coatings you will need will depend on the extent of refurbishment required to achieve a satisfactory finish. This could include Primers, Epoxy Resin & Microballoons filling/fairing compound, as well as undercoats to achieve a nice, smooth finish prior to topcoating. Please get in touch with David one of our specialist AYB Marine Sales reps who can discuss the project in detail and give you prices. Ph: 02 9604 6617 or visit our website. All the best with your project James!

Thanks for your enquiry on Altex's 321 Brushing Polyurethane. White (three verions of) is the only colour available at the moment. Three whites are: New Snow White, New Matterhorn White, and New Oyster White. More colours are in development but will be at least a year away.

In the film shows the white color. Do you have other colors?
