Hi, My father in law has a Nimble sailboat, looks very similar. I think his is about 26'? How long is yours?

I had a Nomad, then moved to a Wanderer. I enjoyed both boats.
Enjoyed the vid…thanks for posting. -
THANKS, IT IS A GREAT BOAT.

I am not going to worry about the zombie apocalypse ANYMORE.... I'm just going to get me a Nimble. Great Video !

@cblucci Ive got a Nomad for sale just like this one.
-
@cblucci Thanks, I am glad that you like the mods I made. Since I made the video, I have made more changes/additions. I am going to have to make a video on just the things I have done to it. Mine is the Standard which is the less expensive design but I think that is the better of the two and lends itself to less up keep & easier upgrades. Sorry, Boomer isn't for sale but thanks for asking. You might want to keep an eye out for a Soundings Magazine article coming out in the soon about Boomer.

Thanks for your kind comments. I know you are going to love your boat as all owners do. I am looking forward to a Nomad reunion at Moblie, Al in the spring. Hope you and many others can attend!

I appreciate your interest and your comments. You are right, I did spend many hours making the mods that I have. I also have many more in the works. Keep in touch because Boomer is going places.

Thanks for the great video and a "tour" of a great looking Nomad. Looks like you have spent many happy hours making her "showplace" quality. The video and music was well done, but the real inspriation is the Nomad. Now I have to start making mine just a little bit better! Thanks Jim, really a nice job.

Thanks for your kind comment. I plan to cruise the entire length of the Tenn-Tom this spring so be watching for that video to come.

Sensational Video. Thanks for posting it. I have owned a Nimble 20 sailboat since I met the late Jerry Koch in the 1980's. I've sailed her in Florida, the Chesapeake Bay and now on the West Coast out of Marina del Rey. Nimbles are terrific boats.

The Nimble Nomad is a trailerable Pocket trawler which is probably the best boat in it's class. This video is about my boat and it shows many of the custom modifications I have made to it. For my wife and myself, this boat fits our style of cruising better than anything else we looked at. It is trailerable, has over six feet of head room, fully self contained, draws only sixteen inches of water, but best of all, it burns only .5 to 1.5 gph of fuel at 7 to 8 knots. The next boat with this much class and almost identical in size lists for nearly $100,000 more than the Nimble. It is a comfortable craft whether we cruise for a weekend or for a month.
