Just love the smell of nitro in the morning!

I would hate all that water in my face when waterskiing after any of these two.

Great boats, but they should never use a parachute. Chances are that water projected from behind the boat can fill and then pull the craft to a forced drop in speed. If the parachute is attached above the engine it has the power to pull the boat to airlift it skyward and then all that water in the parachute acts like a large ball of water being pushed forward by gravity. While this is happening, the gravity of the water ball pulls the rear end of the boat that is already flying skyward - forward and the boat then lands upside down in the water, where the force of impact can crush the driver between the boat and the hard water. I've seen this happening. So, I do not recommend the use of parachutes to 'brake' the boats in water, especially these boats that throw out a million cubic feet of water in the air. it's a great sport, but please play it safe, don't use parachutes on drag boat.

You know you're sucking when your chute fills up with water.

I've been known to be faster paddling my canoe.

This isn't the fastest boat in the world :/

One of the fastest ways to turn money into noise. If the boat was owned by Kanye West it's be a closed loop operation. Noise into money, money into noise......

"Spirit of Australia" is the fastest at 317 mph. That's the average of two runs in opposite directions. But these dragsters get going really quickly!
