At least eight bodies were fished out from the Indus river by the divers of Pakistan Navy Saturday morning after a boatferrying 30 people-all devotees of a saint, capsized overnight in northwest Pakistan. The incident occurred 10 kilometers away from Dokri area in Larkana district on Friday night when a boat crammed with 30 odd passengers and some motorcycles-beyond its capacity, set sail from a traditional festival of Muhbann Pir, on the left bank of the river. But the overloaded boat dashed against the left bank while it was being anchored at the point. The Pakistan Navy divers from Sukkur had arrived at the site of the incident around midnight but the rescue efforts had to be put off till dawn due to darkness. While seventeen people managed to swim ashore, twenty people were rescued by the divers. However, four are still missing. **Please contact video@catersnews.com to licence this content** Company Information: Caters Clips is owned and operated by Caters News Agency Ltd, an international multimedia content provider.
