KEY WEST, Fla. (November 9, 2011) – On behalf of Super Boat International, Jeff Tillman and Robert Morgan were involved in a single boat boating accident this afternoon in Key West, Florida. They sustained injuries incompatible with life. Both men were pronounced dead at Lower Keys Medical Center. Our hearts and prayers go out to their families.

maybe we learn from the mistakes over crashes to perform better in the future of those sports we love

If you die, you automatically win the race right? God bless and God speed these two, and comfort their family and friends... Tragic losses are the worst - at least they went doing what they love.... hope the hull builders are always diligent in the safeguards they can build into these craft..

Yes and in 2010 the Victory team blew over the same way and both racers were also killed. It is time for UIM to take a hard look at rear canopy safety because there is obviously something not right back there. RIP Victory and Big Thunder.

I should amend before I appear as more of a douche than I actually am, that I didn't know these gentlemen and I'm quite sure they were exemplary humans. What begged for my cynical comments was the deluded tone of the voice over describing this occupation as if it demanded the skills of a micro surgeon and God bless them for having the courage. No, it IS THE funnest most expensive self indulgent form of racing and it burns thru boat loads of disposable cash and requires no talent. None

Everyone should live their life for God. Live your life for thrills and foolishness and vanity and lose it forever and ever.

They were heroes for playing in the water like children. So so brave. They should get a medal. There's a lesson here people! Shouldn't we all try to live more pretentious self indulgent lives like these incredibly talented men that were born with this . . .this gift to be able to sit in a boat and hold the steering wheel straight except in turns where it gets even more complicated. How do they do it?
-
How are these men brave? They had an expensive boat that they died driving I see nothing brave about that.
