doesn't this mean he'll be able to run longer since his legs so t produce as much of the chemicals that make us tired? lol ik it sounds dumb but I really want to know.

He is the definition of handycapable and a murderer they just let him out on house arest do you guys think he has to wear a ankle tether
-
Keep judging, guys..Why don't you look at what good he has done but his mistakes ? It seems when we judge someone, we feel that we are better than that person ! But that's incorrect. Remember this : "Your focus determines your reality !". Live long and prosper, guys !!!

and then he killed his wife
-
hi everyone
-
MURDERER!!!!!!!!!
-
Murderer
-
Murderer or not, he's still a great runner *shrugs*
-
Not gonna run in Olympics, maybe just in jail yard from what we know.
-
hes also a murder
-
How do you call this thing? Artificial legs for running? Do they have thier own name?
-
But there are documentaries upon documentaries by the engineers and people that wear these and had legs amputated because of car accidents and studies have shown that the muscles are much better than the legs. The power generated by regular legs at olympian level is more powerful than the prosthetic legs... But there's always two sides to the story. Because there are engineers that bring up what you bring up...

Ford didn't een make the first car. But the first car that could carry passengers and has an internal combustion engine was made by Karl Benz in 1885. I see where you're coming from. Technology will continue to evolve and they do have legs that are beneficial to people with both natural legs. The only problem is that they are not allowed to be worn in the Olympics...

False, theres less weight drag less weight inertia to move and can generate more power with less power loss, pretty much interms of running at least a prosthetic leg is superior to a regular human leg.
-
This is a moot question. I have never believed that he should be permitted to compete with this obvious state of the art device. How do you fairly and accurately correlate permissible spring and and normal leg movement. How do you compensate for energy that would normally burn in the legs. He is given a device that allows him to compete at the highest level when his actual athletic ability is potentially deficient. If he was a true threat for gold, it would have been stopped. Titanium steroids.

/watch?v=a6krLeYduBY trust me on this one guys :)

Bloomerg wants to ban amputees now, they kill people......

it's very tragic, and a little odd.

Nahh I get the feeling now he wont be racing there, its so sad what happened killing his girlfriend, its tragic.
Should a handicapped racer be allowed to race against able-bodied runners? South Africa's Oscar Pistorious is known as the Blade Runner, because he runs on artificial legs. And, as Len Berman reports, he has fought his way to the World Championships. His goal, despite all obstacles thrown in his path, is the Olympics. Buzz60 is designed for the way we live now.
