Dear all rival charter boat operators, im the skippers son- he died 18 months ago- if you could all stop talking shit about him that would be great im sure he'd appreciate it too. R.I.P Gaz
-
in that maneuver he risked the lives of the crew, the authorities should revoke his charter license.
-
Well done? ha ha, he chose the worst time to even try to get in
-
My uncles is in the boat.but my wods are very well done. Regina. 8

Typical under powered charter boat. They're economical but will kill you when things go wrong.
-
Tbf if he had waited 30 seconds there was a flat period in the surf lololol.
-
why did they muck around like that
-
just after they cop it, as they go through the heads, the boat seems to be able to go much faster. Why not ride in on the back of a wave as it says you should. Or is the boat just surfing? I am surprised if the boat can't go faster than it is for most of the video.

CRAFT CONDITIONS CONSEQUENCE.. Did the skipper really give them any consideration. Not according to the.. "Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) has fined a fishing charter operator $1500 for negligent navigation after an incident in January this year at the entrance to Bermagui Harbour.". Next time if the skipper doesn't offer a life jacket.. ask for one and WEAR IT AUSTRALIA!

A YouTube video has helped RMS investigators fine a commercial operator $1500 for negligent navigation after an incident in January this year at the entrance to Bermagui Harbour (via NSW Maritime)

what a great skipper to get through it well done Garry the ballantine family
-
thats your opinion..... im sure not many agree with you. This skipper should not have gone out to begin with. Then to have no life jackets on passengers.... yep brilliant failure.
-
He knew what he was doing ;) just put on a show for the crowd !
-
It is clear that he really had no idea how to cross a bar. He should have been right on the back of the wave in front of the one that nearly rolled him. Lucky Idiot!
-
It was really good to see that no one on the boat was wearing life jackets!
-
@oldkneelo very wise move!
-
We are in the harbour waiting for a weather window to get out and on our way
-
the reason they closed the Game comp
