Beautiful yacht. Built to go places. Loving interior fitting out and materials. Lucky owner

Great video about exceptional yachts. I wonder with environmental concerns about fossil fuels if Bering has considered electric propulsion?
Also what grade(s) of high strength ABS / Lloyd's approved marine grade steel are used in their hulls and internal framing? -
Great looking boat.

I am waiting for a video of a real sea trial test of Bering 65, 60,70 in rough seas, your boats looks nice and roomy, but I wanna see it doing the real work, There are many video's of Nordhavn's taming rough seas. But not from Bering
I also wonder if the window near the waterline of the Bering 65, makes the ship very weak, when an object that is smassed thru the boat by a wave can break the window and let the vessel takes water....? -
Monolithic beauty.

It´s a Dream...

Would be nice to see some shots of sea trials of your latest 65 launch, glossy marketing is nice but when your boats are designed to handle some serious passaging it would be nice to see them in some heavier weather, some more candid real world testing and use would be great to see.

I am very impressed with your expedition line of yachts and even though the Bering 80 is under your yachtship line to me it is the most impressive luxury expedition boat from you guys yet and I got to say that I am anxiously waiting for the summer launch of it so I can see the actual videos of it in the water and the reviews. If it is half as good as it appears it will be, you guys might just have scored another homerun. Congrats on the Bering 65...very impressive family transoceanic trawler.
P.S. I like your boats more than the Nordhavns but seems like the Nordhavn interior design team is a step or two ahead of your interior design team...just my opinion though, I am still a big fan of Bering's expedition trawlers even though I am still to see one personally :( -
More Info and Specs please :)

Give me more videos of your yachts, damn it!
http://www.beringyachts.com/bering-65.aspx The Bering 65 is a rugged and classic looking steel yacht capable of any ocean crossing. Modeled after the proven North Atlantic commercial trawlers, her heavy full-displacement hull is ideally suited for the rigors of open ocean travel. Her raised pilothouse, rooted in tradition but also highly functional, has become a hallmark of expedition yachts in this class. With efficient commercially rated diesel engines and voluminous fuel tanks, you can easily travel 5000 nautical miles at 6-7 knots without the need for refueling. The interior floor plan of the 65 includes three spacious staterooms each with their own private en suite head. Your friends and family will feel truly pampered as guests aboard your Bering yacht. Stepping aboard, the saloon features built-in seating on both sides with a large dinette off to starboard. Fine textured leathers or durable Ultraleather® can be chosen in colors of your choosing to match the interior design plan. An entertainment center forward of the settees houses a large flat screen TV surrounded by hand finished teak or other woods of your choosing. The pilothouse's generous window placement on three sides provides complete forward and adjacent viewing of your surroundings. An L-settee located aft of the helm chair allows the captain to have company while attending to steering duties underway. The full-width galley is just aft of the pilothouse steering room but on the same level. Refrigeration units as well as in-wall oven(s) are located off to the port side along with drawer storage and an optional wine chiller. The master stateroom can be located forward as a v-berth or aft as a midship stateroom. The guest staterooms allow for complete privacy thanks to their en suite heads. The 65 can has two guest staterooms forward of the master with crew quarters immediately forward of the engine room, or the crew quarters can be designed as a very functional utility room. Up on deck, her covered flybridge helm station and seating area provide exceptional views both at sea and in close quarters docking situations. With generously sized outboard settees and the option to have any combination of refrigeration, outdoor grilling, stainless sink, etc. you have the ability to entertain guests with ease. Access to the swim platform is available through either of the outboard stairwells in the cockpit. The aft platform is located just above waterline to allow for easily embarking and disembarking to your tender or water toys. Throughout the deck spaces you will find intelligent and thoughtful touches such as the numerous mooring cleats, freeing ports to quickly clear the decks of green water, and ergonomic handrails for maximum security. The engine room houses the twin diesel engines in addition to many of the ship’s machinery components. Bering places great emphasis on minimizing noise and vibration coming from this space. To that end, the entire engine room is surrounded with acoustic paneling and heavy bulkhead insulation. Aft of the engine room is utility/storage space, perfect for such things as fenders, a watermaker, dive compressor and tool storage.
