Here are the various entries into the cardboard boat race sponsored by the Washington College Environmental Studies department. There were about 15 entries and a lot of diversity in the designs and construction. The rules were: 1) Boats must be made entirely of recycled cardboard 2) Duct tape could only be used to hold the boat together not cover the entire hull. Any glue must be water soluble 3) Boats could only be painted with water based paint 4) They were supposed to hold a minimum of two people - though this year they did allow one entry who was alone Please see the second video to find out how the boats fared!
