I just bought these for 140, I have an android device, and every remote function works for me, I can even activate google now with it. Overall I would say those are amazing headphones.

mine broke multiple times just sitting in my ear it popped off from the ear bud circular part exposing the wires.

The good sound quality part is incorrect. These earbuds are basic at best. The sound is normal and you'll have the exact same sound from a pair of $30 apple earpods. I own them and the sound is okay.
