It doesn't look like a total loss to me. It just looks like a boat that got washed ashore and I'm sure the owner doesn't want it there either.

Don't people help people anymore??? I don't understand. I have no money but I do have a lot of shovels and could make a lot of phone calls. I don't have any heavy equipment. But I would bet if we got enough people there working on the project someone would bring something heavy. Will she float?

I do not take offense to the tone of your note because I can tell you are hurting from the loss of your cat and the demise of your boat. I am not an irresponsible junior reporter, I am a home owner in the neighborhood that sees your recked boat sitting on a beautiful and very popular public beach. I am positive that your vintage, foreign built yacht was absolutely gorgeous in it's heyday but unfortunately not now.

Hi Sandra,
I'm curious as to your experience/credentials when it comes to surveying vintage, foreign built yachts? I suppose in anyone else's inexperienced hands 'THE ANGELIQUE' might be considered a "total loss", thank God that's not the case here.
Do me a favor & choose your words, declarations of fact, etc. carefully. It was an inexperienced Sheriff's spokesperson stating repeatedly to the press that 'THE ANGELIQUE' WAS 'ABANDONED' which precipitated such a frenzy of looting it prevented us from being able to continue searching for our lost cat for a time. She's now presumed dead.
I wonder what damage your irresponsible Jr. reporting has done to a wonderful family of 5?
Sincerely,
ANGELIQUE RIDER-MITCHELL

This 70 foot boat washed ashore early morning on Thursday, Feb. 27. Either it was too heavy or too damaged to be able to move before the second and more severe storm came to shore. City officials allowed Mother Nature to take its course.
