Greata kayak. You used foam and then fiberglass, yes ?
-
great idea and work

Sorry - I should have read further in the comments & would have seen that it has not yet been completed & posted. this would have been a great winter project for many of us old retirees. thanks Don

I am very impressed with your project & would also like to do a build like this. I would like to see the detail of your full build video. Where can I view it? Thanks - Don

-
Cool kayak! Nice job!
-
That's an impressive build!!! Great job!!
-
Very cool! You've done an amazing job. Did you manage to finish the full build video yet?
-
Absolutely brilliant - from the design to the build. Outstanding job!
-
Rewatched your Video. Lets hear it for CHEAP!!!!! HoooooRaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!
-
Did you skin that with canvas or burlap?
And did you just screw directly into the foam? -
What would the weight be if you seal it like a surfboard? Could start a company based off that design. First time for me seeing anything like this.
-
I'm really looking forward to the full build video of this.
-
Very nice did you design this from scratch I want to build one for fishing in my retirement years. what did you use to glue the foam together
-
Cool rig. I already have two fishing kayaks, but I need another for tag alongs on trips. Really mulling one of these to build.
-
great job how does it track? I am planning on building one and I am cheap lol
-
Very nice job here! You mentioned plans that you went by, could you post a link to get those plans please? I have a deep water yak already but want something inexpensive for shallow stumpy lakes. Mine is not really meant for paddling so taking the drive out for stumpy lakes is killing me lol.

In preparation for a full build video, this is just a short, non-edited one to give an introductory overview of my 2nd kayak build. It's based off of the "Sawtooth" found on Instructables.com. This is the link: http://www.instructables.com/id/Sawfish-foam-kayak-build-a-funtional-light-wieght-/ Check it out if you're looking to build a fairly cheap kayak that can be COMPLETELY customized however you want it. Stay tuned for the full build video. Thanks for watching!
