Back in "the day" of Blue Water Sailing.

A Catana would have sails up and be doing 20 kts. grow a pair
-
How can he be sailing with no sails up?. Its just drifting with the wind.
-
No it definitely looks like a big and confused sea in vid. It is really hard to capture the wind and sea from such a low deck height. Only from a larger and taller vessel do you start to see the scale from above. It's always so hard to drag out the camera when you are in survival mode. Good work.

Peter Blake would have been flying a spinnaker, wearing shorts and a tee shirt while planning an adventure....................https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVxoHS1DyWc

towing warps to slow down under bare poles in southern ocean storm dean 40 catamaran lunatic. sailing well doing about 8 knots with no sails, surfing at 15-25knots. now that i look at this one year on it looks pretty tame. it did not feel tame as we were surfing at quite high speeds, sometimes three waves at a time. boat tracks straight as a train but i do prefer to cruise in warm weather at 10 knots boat speed..
