After showcasing multiple products and concepts at the 2014 Auto Expo, Indian two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto remained absent from the 2016 edition of the motoring event. However, company insiders now confirm that the next motorcycle to roll out from Bajaj’s Pune plant will be the CS400. The motorcycle is likely to undergo some cosmetic and mechanical changes from its concept form and may see some cost-cutting measures. Bajaj’s stand at the 2014 Auto Expo hogged limelight as the Indian two-wheeler major displayed some serious firepower in its arena including the SS400 and the CS400. While both the motorcycles are yet to reach the production ramp, a smaller displacement version of the SS400, tagged RS200, is already up on sale. The Bajaj Pulsar CS400 (Cruiser Sport) would be placed as a Power Cruiser in the two-wheeler market and is expected to receive a single cylinder liquid cooled motor with a displacement of 373.4cc (similar to 390 Duke). Power output figure is likely to hover around 40PS mark.
