What size is your little boat?

Loved the video, great job, and the dolphins and the whale was spectacular!  I was on the Glacier Spirit, small commercial fishing boat in Alaska, under Captain Rick Eastlick; I'll never do that again, but I loved the water, sea life, and sleeping on the boat was wonderful!  Takes a lot of courage to lone wolf it, but may God keep you safe, either way, you must love it, or you wouldn't be risking it, the sea has taken the most elite of sailors, so it's not prejudiced!

it seems like this was a miserable voyage for you ... LOL possibly the time of year or the temps were not favorable??? the 12th day is gorgeous as were a few other days as well, but maybe this is not your favorite thing in the world to do? Anyway, THANK YOU for sharing, I have been keeping up with your channel and a number of others and comparing the voyages and activities of you guys as you experience your crossings. Tight Sails and Favorable Seas ... i think! :-)

I stumbled across this video and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it. Bravo for you on this accomplishment.. life is meant to be lived, and you'll never have a regret for doing this. Thanks for sharing and letting me peek in to your adventure.

I'm sure I'm not the first to say it and you may be clipped in and we just cant see it because of the camera angle. But solo sailing requires one to be tethered to the boat at all times, when on deck... Seriously they are called a life line for a reason. Don't get me wrong in 30 years of sailing and fishing I've never fallen off my boat. Sure would hate the first time to be out in the middle of the Atlantic alone. Nothing worse than watching you boat sail away unmanned.

Sebastian could you please tell me for a noob what exactly do I need to cross the ocean? I am starter from 0 .. do I go into sailing course or do I go out with people who sail short distances (Since I can't take holidays twice in a year) .

who would wanna sail around the world with me?

what time of year is best to cross West to East. I believe That its best in Nov Dec to go to the Islands but not sure about the return

At 32 minutes, It makes me nervous seeing you standing with your neck and head above the boom level behind your head.( Maybe it was the camera position.) You never know when the wind could change or a freak thing could happen and the boat could jibe and the main could come crashing across and hit you on the back of your head or neck. I've been in a boat when that happened and the boom of a 14 foot sailing dinghy hit the head of a crew member. She was standing near the mast so it wasn't that bad of a blow but I will always remember it. On a bigger boat, it can only do more damage. Err on the side of being too careful -- especially when you are sailing alone.

Small boat out at sea. I have a 22 morgan but its gonna be a while before shes ready for the gulf of mexico. A friend of mine has a 43 foot livaboard boat.

well done sir! Many people fall apart halfway through from what i have seen....solo-ing isnt easy! Nice boat and GOOD sailing skills !
