and your right the boat its very heavy with the load we carry. i had it fully loaded with fuel, water, (1 tonne of weightt) plus food luggage & extra fuel, water nine people on board and we were still doing forty knots , and it needs the hulls cleaned badly!! fantastic boat and engines

very true!! and the verados are such a sweet engine too, and have not missed a beat. silky smooth electronic throttles, cruise modes , dock modes , single lever synchronizing. they are fantastic!

They might run 45 knots with 175's light ship... but this particular vessel is LOADED and it's anti-fouled. She has aircon, the works and runs 46 knots fully loaded with provisions and full fuel/water. Give the 175 powered boat the same weight and I personally think you'd need to re-prop it and you wouldn't achieve 40 knots.

Yes 250's are an overkill and not a real advantage except out of the hole. or by changing props and i cant be bothered doing that.
-
Thought it would run 46 knots with twin 175hp motors. Seens if so that the 250's are over kill. Your input?

hi there, 47 knots flat out! though i wouldnt want to be paying the fuel bill at that speed.....

i love moist

Looks like you had a ripper weekend on the water mate! *** Benny's tip for the day - Take the old squid bait off your hooks before it dries, it's heaps easier to remove when "Moist" :)
