belle reconvertion, bravo
-
lovely job..

Congratulations to these talented craftsmen. They truly did make a silk purse out of a sows ear. Kudos to the money man who breathed new life into a noble old vessel that was almost, assuredly, headed to the scrap heap.

Nice Job , Hate seeing ships being scrapped all the time these days !

She has worked hard.
Time to put her party dress on and sail the seas. -
Guess what --- it still looks like a tug boat !!!

Para mi ningun barco deberia morir, y esta bueno que hayan reciclado a este, pero yo hubiese elegido un diseño algo mas moderno en el exterior, al menos en la proa. Pero aun asi quedo hermoso

Sweet

Can you tell me what song that is around the 9:21 mark?

You can put a dress on a pig but in the end, it'll still be a pig and this vessel will always be a tugboat.
-
awesome looking yacht
-
Certainly will not lack for thrust.
-
WOW!! turned a potential scrap pile into art........
-
great retirement for plan for a hard working old girl.
-
Great conversion the best way to sail around the world.
-
im thinking built one for mine... Looking for scrap boat, and restore it...
-
That must have cost hundreds of dollars.

I'm not quite understanding the logic behind this except turning a grand dame vessel into a celebration showpiece.
Yacht wise, she's about 1000% overkill. The perfect ship for the ultra paranoid owner. Very poor hull speed but highly maneuverable relative to her tonnage. But that's one deep draft hull. Forget anchorage in many of the yacht play places around the world.
However, the restoration of these wonderful old vessels strikes a chord in the heart of any weathered old sailor. -
Still looks like a tug boat but not. Perfect. My kind of yacht. Nice conversion.

great idea !!!!!!!! always think tug boats are great raw material for luxury reliable , ocean going yacht .... this should behave great in nasty weather !!! and it is steel solid. It is a keeper for sure ...........
