Great post. Two Questions
1. What kind of boat are you sailing?
2. How long did your trip take? -

We spent a week on board our best friends Brian & Joe's fantastic new trawler, a Kadey-Krogen 48 Whaleback raised pilothouse, sailing from Annapolis, MD to New York Harbor. The boat is incredibly stable and comfortable and feels like a much larger yacht. The only pretty rough weather on the trip was crossing Delaware Bay from the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal to the Cape May Canal. The boat handled the 6-foot waves without a problem. We spent nights in Baltimore, MD, Chesapeake City, MD, Cape May, NJ and in Sandy Hook Bay off Atlantic Highlands, NJ. We then sailed under the Verrazano Bridge into New York Harbor and up the Hudson River past the Statue of Liberty and the New World Trade Center. What a great time we all had!
