How can it be a jet boat if the impeller takes damage from rocks? I thought a jet impeller was protected in a rive inside the hull.

a hard run requires a little maintenance afterwards but everything is fixable the engine has a soft Rev limiter that is set well below the Red line and the hull has a sheet of UHMW on the bottom of it so it slides over rocks

This sort of thing must be incredibly hard on both hull and engine. Do you get through a season without replacing one or the other?

my impeller was completely shot, so you can hear the engine hitting the rev limiter just a short clip for a teaser, the run down involved a few stops to let the bilge pumps catch up
