-

I guess these guys are "too cool" for safety jackets and harnesses. Happy they got home safe.

What a seaworthy and relaxing yacht to travel on. I couldn't tell if you were under sail power or not. That canopy was amazing.
-
Theme song?
-
Hey man, we made it...
-
wow, no safety rules on that boat...
-
Hi, question asked about drouge earlier? Also sail configuration for this weather? Running anything? Storm sails, bare poles?..
I know it's a fairly old vid am looking at getting off the dirt and living on a 50' sailing cat with the family and a view to travel. Trying to investigate as much about them as possible, not after a rocket ship just something strong stable and capable. -
Amazing.
-
love your buddy at the end... hes wasted! lol
-
up and down, up and down
-
lol
-
Lack of life jackets and safety harnesses evident. So that's an experienced crew?
-
Excellent music to calm the nerve - could I get the name of the music? Love to sell my house and buy an Admiral 50 once the kids leave home!
-
really boring. what did you have up? use drogue? pretty uninformative. camera person should have moved around a bit. glad you all got home safe though.

Boat speed on average was around 16knots but we were reaching speeds of 25knots. Wind speed was 50 to 65 knots generally always on our stern as the cyclone spins clockwise and we were moving from East to West on the bottom end of it. Regards Captain Dave Bird

This a great and rare video of a cat in rough seas...do you know what your boat speed was and what the apparent wind speed was?

Admiral Charters Madagascars' 50ft catamaran, the Admiral Explorer, en route from Nosy Be, Madagascar to Richards Bay, South Africa got caught in the middle of the Tropical Cyclone Funso. The experienced Captain and crew delivered the Admiral Explorer safely to Richards Bay through very rough seas.
