Cool looking boat but I'd like to see it filmed in something like at least 8-12 foot swells or waves. Can't help but wonder if it would perform like crap in such real world conditions if you took this thing out on open water.

Described by Boat International as "one of the world's most amazing super yachts, that could spell the future for efficient long range cruising", the striking 42.5m Trimaran Adastra was designed by John Shuttleworth and launched in April 2012 by McConaghy Boats China. She has a top speed of 24 knots and has exceeded our expectations with regards to efficiency. Sea trials show the fuel consumption at 10.5 knots is as low as 17 liters per hour giving her a range at this speed of 10,000 miles. At 17 knots she consumes 120 litres per hour and has a range of 4,000 miles.
