at 11:16 your pointer/magnet sticks to the hose clamp which indicates it is not stainless and should be replaced

Nice video, very informative. How do you like the SD60 sail drives? I have a Voyage440 and am thinking of swapping to those as well. The SD50's are 11 years old now. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

How did you come up with Impi as the name for your catamaran ? Do you only have 220 volt for on board power ? Do you have a dish washer , washer n dryer on board and do you make your own drinking water & for baths n showers also ? How many heads does Impi have on board ? Was the Sky Tower in Auckland , New Zealand or some other city there ? Is Cummkngs Onan the only brand of on board generator made for boats and motor homes ? On Impi Is there only one on board generator ?

Hi Brent and Ana. I have enjoyed watching your sailing videos over the past few days. I recently discovered your adventures on youtube.. The NZ video is especially interesting to me as my Wife and I were in the Bay of Islands way back in 1990..We loved our trip to NZ and hoped to go back one day but now the years have passed and we are old..

Impi is a catamaran sailing around the world. We have returned to the water after a refit of Sd 60 saildrives and other minor repairs, anti-fouling etc. Now back in the water we sail to the Bay Of Islands to watch weather for our next departure. With no weather window opening, we delay our departure for other islands and are fortunate to meet our daughter in Auckland, friends we last saw in Cuba visit Impi, and receive some favours from folks who follow our travels on media. It was a beautiful experience to meet a young family who we had never met (in the flesh) and who have followed our travels over the internet now join us for a very memorable day sailing in the Bay Of Islands. We also sneak in some interesting maintenance issues around our Onan generator.
