This video says the company building the yacht is "Northern Marine", but another video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_uedggwW5A&feature=youtu.be&t=1m25s), a news clip about the launch incident, says the company building the yacht is "New World Yacht Builders" and they even show a picture of the company's name on a sign near their building. Any idea which is correct?

As this video shows the engine that was installed and also gives an idea of the fibreglass work that went to make this yacht one may have an idea of the weight distribution estimation..
The fibreglass hull below deck would weight as much as four engines so below the surface there were five engines equivalent weight. the hull without deck above the water would be at least four engines in weight. The first bridge deck would be another three engines and the fly bridge is another two engines equivalent. There are extras on top which I would say aoother two engines. The information at 0.22 shows additional bulkheads at bridge deck level and I would add another engine weight equivalent. The hull's midsection frame is well rounded and one can get an idea of the metacentric position of this hull. I would say that of 100 tons 60 are above the surface while 40 are below the surface.
The stability angle seems to be too narrow and I would have launched this craft with two large cutters slung by its side, till the full ballast was added.

bahahahahaaha!!!! it capsized during launch!!! no maiden voyage now! what were they thinking when they designed that thing anyway?? that thing looks top heavy just sitting in dry dock. there's like 4 feet of draft and 30 feet of freeboard! that thing is ridiculous!

Looks Top Heavy To Me. I Wonder How It Will Handle Rough Seas With All That Upper Structure To Make It Roll

She looks better on land. New rule: All bean counters get to ride the launch! Sigh.

Watching this makes me nauseous. It should be fairly straightforward to get the boat up and running, but it is painful nonetheless.
-
So where is the video of the launching? Lol
-
Please, for the love of God, show us the "splash" video. I beg you.
-
Tragic about the (failed) launch of this once beautiful vessel!
-
Lets see the launch ;)

We're eagerly awaiting the launch video.

You promised vid of the splash to subscribers - looking forward to it.
