Hey Lawren, I am actually an owner/operator of a vinyl graphics business in Manitoba (and an avid fisherman :) ). This is just my opinion but the edge sealer and primer are not needed if the surface is clean, you are using the right product (vinyl) and it is installed correctly. I seen some of the areas you struggled with and it looks like it just needed to be laid down smoother. When working with this stuff especially wrapping, heat is your friend. You definitely want to have a heat gun with you, patiently lay it down inch by inch and if you get a bubble or wrinkle pull the material back up off the surface and try again. Understandably the jobs done now but it is something to consider if you decide to ever give it a shot again. You took on a challenging project even for someone with experience dealing with angles, rivets and cut outs is difficult. Btw good material should come with a rating of 5-6 years outdoor life span, this is comparable to the stuff we use on signs for outdoor applications, it holds up in the rain, -30 and heat. The primer/sealer most likely would not have helped (I never use the stuff).

I had a bunch of difficulty installing the wrap so I wasn't able to film it. This is after 2 seasons of use and it is holding up very well. The water spots on the vinyl are easily removed with a automotive detailer product. Please click the red “SUBSCRIBE” button below the video to get the latest uploads to this channel
