I love powercats and wish I could afford to buy one, but, I'm not real sure about the Ameracat. It looks like a cheaply-made boat considering the price they demand compared to its competitors. Go to their website and select "Build A Boat". Just look at what they're asking for an empty shell of a hull (before adding ANY options or engines).
Don't get me wrong, I would still LOVE to own one, but compare the fit-and-finish to other cats and the price seems a little outrageous.
I mean, just watch the bow cushions in this video and you'll see what I mean.

Show me the view from the chase boat. This Im sure is fun, but I can't see the boat work.
Americat or Twin Vee Rides better than any 31' V-hull on the planet!!!! I dont care if you have a Contender or a Jupiter or whatever.... All you ignorant V-hull lovers can suck wee wee! Your little V-hull would get pounded and soaked out there in the rough.... The cat cuts thru it and spits it out the back.
