30 Mile Ocean Journey in Homemade Solar Boat

What kind of speeds do you get with the outboard designed motor. Im planing on building an electric boat using an old lifeboat and electric wheelchair motors. Ps if you have an iphone look up navonics free navigation app.

I am just finishing up my second boat build, she is 9'3", by 3'6"... Gotta put pontoons on next, she has a 20' mast, 300 watts of solar, an electric trolling motor, oars (Of course), and a sculling lock...

Feel comfortable enough now to build a ship to live on...
