I wish i could try this with my camper on the back. I have a 07 Ridgeline but i am stuck between a new Ridgeline or a tundra. Bring that truck here buddy.
-
all i can say honda didn't need a bail out or a private loan Tow that
-
How much did Honda pay you to nut hug this Ridgeline?
-
Thats shit is fucking slow fuck that thing its ugly, slow, cant tow shit, cant hold shit its not a truck its a peice of junk only people buying that thing is some faggots who like to get buttfucked

This car/ truck whatever should stick to weekend Costco runs. P.O.S. for towing, and most off road situations. And Honda automatic transmissions through the 2000's were known to be god awful with violent shifting etc. 2001 Honda Accord V-6 and 94 Acura Legend before that. Both had horrible transmissions and a/c compressors failed in both. Honda in my opinion are very delicate cars.

Shaky videos suck

Do not tow anything with the Honda. They over heat right away. Go on any site you will see. People this is not a truck. It is an ((( EMBARRASSMENT ))) TO ANY REAL TRUCK OWNER. We had one pull up on are trail rides we do and it get stuck 3 time in the first mile. We made him go back. Go buy the Toyota Tacoma and you will love it

I am impressed with the honda all around but my 08 ridgeline is far better looking than the new. I cannot stand the new styling on this truck... anyone else think the older one looked better? My ridgeline has about 230k on it and runs like a clock and I take it in back country all the time. Ya it could use a lower gear but in terms of driving and not really towing this is far more comfortable than my 7.3 excursion or my F250 with the 6.7. If only they had a 4-low gear option for when the going gets technical... But honestly does anyone think the older one looks better than the new...?

is the truck equipped with trailer brakes?
-
Thank you for the review on towing. I love watching people so upset about their manhood with this truck. lol... It looks like a great truck for what most people need.

This was a well-done, informative video, Jalopnik. Don't mind the haters. I just got done making the rounds, test driving the Ridgeline, F-150, and Ram 1500, and the ridgeline was the most enjoyable to drive. Nobody would argue that it's the best for towing regularly, but if you only need that ability infrequently, than the Ridgeline is a great balance with a decent amount of capability. Keep up the good work Jalopnik.

if its a honda its good by me 25mpg saving money at the pump

This vehicle fills a niche, not sure why all of the truck guys get their underwear in a wad about it. I personally wouldn't tow something that close to the maximum, but a 3500-4000lb camper? Exactly what it's designed to do.

Big ups to carytown
-
What was your gas mileage while towing? No one addresses this.
-
the best thing about this video...........the mustang. by the way, if you want a truck, a real truck with a real bed, buy a FORD or CHEVY or RAM. then you'll have a TRUCK.
-
I genuinely want this Tru... Ute? Honda Camino? Fuck it I like it.
-
goes to show it's more of a truck than anyone knows or "thinks" they know. cool video.
-
I know the car wasn't on the trailer but please stay out of the left lane if you're towing anything that's not what it's for.
-
With just a little creativity this could have been turned into kind of an interesting and informative piece twice the length.
