what about the Rome shoes
-
it would be great if you told us which boots had shifter pads or toe pads to help shifting. IMO its the most overlooked part of the boot. but its one of the most important

Sorry Revzilla Got the sneaker wrong! Your Forma Hypers http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/forma-hyper-shoes
Make the TCX their Bitch...If we were back on the block the Hypers would be the Pimp and the TCX would be that tired Hoe!! Bitch better have my cash or i'll bust that ass! lol Neck to Neck in protection and da Hypers just look so much better!!! When you gonna get a detailed review of them?? Keep up the great work. -
Drewzilla, what would you recommend in regards for short boots/shoes with the best breathability? I tend to have sweaty feet in boots and even in leather shoes (pumas and such). Weather is not an issue (socal). Would love recommendations scaling all ranges of protection. Also saw a different video on here where there were a few boots that rocked a bit of gore-tex. How do those feel in regards to comfort and breathability?
-
Sidi Doha! No? Better than TCX in every category, even comfort.

I live in the tropics and commute on my bike year round through the rainy season and the dry season when it's over 105 every day. I've worn the tcx x-street waterproof almost every day for the last two years. They are fantastic. Totally waterproof and my feet do not get hot in them. They were my first purchase from Revzilla.
-
Hi Revzilla, which boot would you recommend for someone looking for maximum cooling? My bike;s engine makes my feet so damn hot even when it's quite cold out, and it's just starting to get into warmer weather here (I live over in the UK). Thanks!

Too bad the X RAPs didnt make the cut. Have used a pair extensively for the last 3 yrs. What a lark! These shoes are the best Ive ever owned...no break in, tough as nails and truly water proof. The only VERY minor problem is they eat laces. Not sure why as the eyes are all smooth. Id buy another pair in aheart beat!!

I have very narrow feet for a guy (A to AA narrow). I've heard TCX and Sidi run narrow, but I'm not sure it'll be enough. Anyone have experience, or other suggestions? Looking for a riding shoe under $200 if possible.
-
I picked up the Icon Accelerant Boots early this season and I haven't found a better casual riding boot that offers this much protection.
Leather boot, D30 protection in the ankle, steel shank and a nice solid sole makes me surprised that the boot didn't make the cut for best Short Boots in 2016! -
For the boots you've shown, I'd recommend the Icon super duty boot hands down. I have owned several pairs of short boots, the Icon boot you can wear all day, every day. Loved them so much I wore through the sole. I have tried to buy a replacement but local shops don't stock icon any more. RJays have a similar boot, but they squeak when I walk. The sport style boots are great on the bike but are only good for short walks off the bike.

I watched the x-square sport video and Anthony was not kidding when he said it fit long/narrow. I got my boot in and I didn't think fit right. When I called the return number, the guy actually owned these shoes and he helped me out with gear advice even though he was just a returns guy. I was shocked that I didn't have to wait for a refund for order a size down. I litteraly told him to go one size down to 42 and he emailed me a thing and I was able to print the label from my phone and drop the package off so they can just take the return, inspect it, and send out the size I want. This is the way it should be done. You are honestly better than Amazon.

What does Anthony mean when he says 'don't assume the TCX WP is not the best sneaker boot on the market'.??? I don't understand this statement.

You guys are awesome! Bought my dowco cover and got it the next day. Thank you!
-
I wear a US size 10.5 Extra Wide, what boots do you guys recommend?
-
Any of you guys know of a good pair of shoes/ boots that will hike as well as they bike? I like to day trip an overnight to state parks and the like, and every pair of footwear I get is awesome at one and rubbish at the other. It would be nice not to have pack a second pair in my kit. Also, thanks to revzilla for the awesome in depth reviews, it's great for those of is in the boonies that have to order everything.

was so looking forward to see the icon field armour 2.0 boots in this chosen category. why did u guys skip this one?

I have the TCX X-Cube and my biggest gripe is the velcro strap refuses to stay in place. Did they fix that with the X-Square ?

I'm curious as to why the Alpinestars SMX 3 boots didn't make it as one of the top boots. I was thinking of buying them because I'm not interested in buying a full race boot and I also don't really want a very short riding boot/sneaker. After watching the guide I'm debating on whether or not to pull the trigger on the TCX x-square over the alpinestars smx 3. Can somebody tell me the difference between the smx 3 boot vs the tcx x sqaure? Also, what's the difference between the tcx x-move vs x-square? Sorry for all the questions I'm just torn between a bunch of boots lol. Narrowed them down to like 4 now but still need help finding the right one :). I'm going to start riding this year so I'm pretty new when it comes to the gear and all of that great stuff.

Will Alpinestars be replacing the CR-4 Gore-Tex XCR boot?
2016 Short Boots & Riding Shoes Buyers Guide http://www.revzilla.com/2016-best-motorcycle-short-boots-riding-shoes-buyers-guide?utm_source=youtube.com&utm_medium=description&utm_campaign=2016_Motorcycle_Short_Boots_and_Shoes_Buying_Guide&utm_term=Un2RH_r8Psk The Best Motorcycle Short Boots and Riding Shoes Buyers Guide highlights the top options for riders in search of comfort on the bike and off, while retaining moto-specific functionality while the kickstand is up. Short boots and riding shoes make use of many safety features that full boots utilize, yet they do so with a reduced profile and a height that doesn’t extend too far over the ankle. This mobility makes for a more relaxed ride, while simultaneously lowering the relative weight. At the same time, the best motorcycle shoes and short boots often incorporate stylish, more low-key features that allow them to blend in with regular footwear when you get to your destination.
