2014 Pocomoke Boat Docking Contest

I used to watch these contests in Rock Hall about 15 years ago. Question for anyone out there when did they start using these rings on the dock lines or is it only in the Pocomoke contest. Thanks

Who docks their boat with hoops on the lines. I would be impressive if the boat was tied up right.

Just saying when I was deckhanding for ACO I got pretty good at lassoing a bit with about a 2 inch mooring line!

I'm going to take my shirt off and spin it like a helicopter every time I dock my boat!

The funny one was the second boat up--the guy at the helm ran out and tied--had to run back before he got the 4th--back to the helm to make an adjustment while the 2nd guy just stood there--what was the 2nd guy even for?
