Wow! What a feat! Awesome job! Thank you for sharing.

how much was the actual cost of the tank I'm looking at the same boat to buy with same issues

Is that wood? Is there wood under the fiberglass you removed??? Does bayliner build their boats with wood and just cover it with fiberglass? Awesome video!!! I would appreciate a reply ;)

Hi Gene, Quite an amazing feat to have replaced that tank and bulkhead having never attempted that kind of work before. I would imaging you must be handy in other kinds of construction. The finish results were great; I cant imaging the marina could have done any better and possibly may have cut some corners where you did not. I have a Bayliner 215BR, 2006 and so far so good except for a little softening along the edge of the deck storage compartment. I'm wondering if your boat is in salt or fresh water and if it is kept in the water or stored on the trailer?

Really cool of you to post this up. REALLY nice job. Looks like nothing ever happened on the inside and better than stock in the engine bay. Just wondering.. what did the marina quote you for cost, compared to how much you spent?
I don't have a boat right now, but I bookmarked this for the future ( if I need to do this on my next boat... looking at 2006 325's right now). I too have watched all of Frisco Jarrett's videos of him redoing his SeaRay 22' and WOW! -
nice write up. i have the same problem. i was going to pull the motor to fix tank...guess not now thanks

Great video. I am unfortunately having the same problem with my 1997 ciera 2355. I could not locate the manufacturer of the new tank you mentioned. Could you please provide name, & phone/and or address. Also, did you consider some other material for the tank other than aluminum.
Thank you. -
Very good !!! Tnkx
